BORN TO RACE, NO DISCUSSION: Pinarello F5 105 Di2 Bronze Mirage

Our history is one of extraordinary victories, iconic bicycles, passion, and expertise. Pinarello F5 105 Di2 channels that heritage into serious performance, and guides you straight to victory. Every true rider knows that what goes up must come down. So the F5 105 Di2 excels on all terrain: it climbs with ease and descends in total comfort. In short, that’s what we call ALL-ROUND PERFORMANCE.

CARBON T700 UD: Pinarello F5 105 Di2 Bronze Mirage

T700 Toray Carbon holds the secret: it maintains reactivity and performance, yet still delivers higher dampening to absorb road vibration. As a result, you get more comfort and more fun.

ASYMMETRIC FRAME: PINARELLO F5 105 Di2

Pinarello was the first brand to notice an imbalance in pedalling force. Although both pedals receive the same thrust, the chain pulls only on the right side. So every frame’s asymmetric design compensates for that uneven force.

ONDA FORK

Pinarello has refined this distinctive fork technology since 2000. Its shape delivers precise turning, added stability, and reduced longitudinal and lateral shock.

COMPETITION GEOMETRY

Pinarello bikes have won 30 grand tours. Meanwhile, 70 years of victories and continuous improvement have shaped what we consider the best race geometry in the industry.

SHIMANO 105 Di2 GROUPSET & BUILD

A full Shimano 105 Di2 12-speed electronic groupset anchors this build. It delivers crisp, precise shifting across the crankset, cassette and bottom bracket. Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes add confident stopping power, too, running 160mm rotors in all conditions. For the finishing kit, a Most Lynx My26 saddle keeps you comfortable. A Jaguar Claw Ultra Alu handlebar and Claw Ultra Aero Alu stem sharpen your control, too. Finally, Most Ultrafast 45 wheels and Most 30 tyres round out a build that rewards every kilometre in the saddle.

Cicli Pinarello S.R.L. is one of the most famous and winning bike manufacturers in the world. Founded in Treviso (Italy) in 1952 by Giovanni (Nani) Pinarello, it produces high end racing bikes. This name, Pinarello, recalls legendary victories of the greatest cyclists of all times: since 1975, the first victory in Giro d’Italia with Fausto Bertoglio, Pinarello has won all the most important races in the world, including Olympics, World Championships and Tour de France. 1.2 Track Experience Over the Years For many years Pinarello has developed track bikes to cover different needs of riders. Starting from the Espada, used by Miguel Indurain in 1996 for hour record, passing through Bolide HR, the weapon developed for Bradley Wiggins’s Hour record in 2015, since the recent wins of Elia Viviani with the Maat (Omnium gold medal at the 2016 Olympics) and Francesco Ganna with the Bolide HR again (gold medal in Individual Pursuit and Team Pursuit during Track World Cup). All of these projects have helped Pinarello to grow over time and improve its products, making them the best performing and desirable bicycles on the market. Having created many winning bicycles in recent cycling history, Pinarello was able to draw on a very broad technical know-how to develop this new project. In fact, the Maat is the outcome of an optimization of the frame coming from the expertise done with - deep analysis of track aerodynamics done with Bolide HR - stiffness and power transmission analysis done on all of Pinarello’s road bikes - accurate investigation of rider needs to enhance their riding experience.
