Scott Addict 10 is one of our most beloved road bikes simply because it’s so rideable. It’s light like a racing bike. And we redesigned it to balance performance, comfort, and budget for the long haul—making Addict 10 arguably the ideal road bike. The key to its rideability lies in its geometry. It’s slightly more relaxed and less compact than most racing platforms. So on the ride, you’ll feel more open and upright thanks to a longer stack and shorter reach. Our engineers also tweaked the frame’s HMX carbon layup. So it stays compliant and forgiving over small bumps and longer stretches of poor pavement.
But Addict 10 is no slouch. It holds speed at the front of the group. It climbs effortlessly in the hills and descends on rails through the mountains. Still, it’s just as happy slow-rolling with your crew on a Sunday no-drops ride. Nor is Addict 10 limited to smooth, local routes if you want to push the pace. Tire clearance is now 38mm. So if you’re chasing a mixed-surface route, Addict 10 handles chunder better than most so-called all-road bikes.
Scott Addict 10 goes where you go, how you go, and as long as you go. And if you go too long, the frame-stowed Save-The-Day Kit comes to the rescue. It unpacks a tube, tire lever, and mini-pump. Addict 10 rolls with SRAM’s wireless Force AXS 2x groupset. Plus, it runs fast and stable Fulcrum Wind 42 disc wheels on Schwalbe ONE tires—so you’re set for going long at any speed you choose.

The Addict now clears tires up to 38mm, opening the door to new terrain. As a result, you get more comfort, more grip, and more versatility—so you’re ready for any adventure, no matter the road surface.

So we built the Addict for all-day comfort. By reshaping the seat tube and refining the tube profiles, we’ve given it 25% more compliance than the race-focused Addict RC.
Geometry
Also, a relaxed geometry boosts comfort on every ride. The Addict features increased stack and reduced reach, so you get an easy, natural fit. In fact, riding with 0mm spacers on the Addict matches 35mm spacers on the Addict RC, giving you a more upright and enjoyable position.
Carbon Technology HMX-HMF
In fact, the Addict comes in two proven carbon layups. The HMF version strikes the perfect balance between lightweight construction, stiffness, and comfort, while the HMX version pushes performance even further. Because it uses higher-modulus carbon fibres, we can remove material without compromising strength—so you get an even lighter frame that still delivers the ride characteristics you expect.
