The Scott Solace Gravel 30 (2027) in Carbon Black is an electric gravel bike that does not look like one. It suits riders who want the big days back. So it handles long gravel loops, rough fire roads and the commute in between. Plus the Scott Solace Gravel 30 hides its motor and battery well enough that most people will never notice.
- Solace eRIDE Disc HMX Carbon frame.
- TQ HPR60 mid-motor, 60Nm max torque.
- TQ internal 360Wh battery, range extender ready.
- SRAM APEX XPLR 12 speed, AXS shift-brake system.
- Syncros Capital GR 25 AL II wheelset, new for 2027.
- Schwalbe G-One Overland RaceGuard 700x50C tyres.
- Syncros Campbell iL integrated rear light.
- SCOTT Endurance Geometry. 14.3kg.
Quiet Power, Not a Motorbike
The TQ HPR60 sits in the bottom bracket and gives 60Nm of torque. That is a big step up from the 40Nm in Scott’s road-going Fastlane. So it holds a steady pace up loose, pitchy climbs where a lighter system runs out of legs. Plus the unit is quiet, and it hands the bike back to you smoothly at 25km/h rather than dragging.
360Wh, Hidden Inside
The 360Wh battery is fully internal. There is no pack strapped to the downtube and no display bolted to the bar. Instead you get a small TQ readout with Bluetooth and ANT+, and a dedicated app. As a result the Solace Gravel reads as a normal carbon gravel bike from three metres away. The frame is also range extender ready, so a 160Wh TQ extender drops into the bottle cage for longer days.
50c Tyre Clearance
The frame clears 700x50C rubber. It ships on Schwalbe G-One Overland RaceGuard tyres at that full width. So you get real float and grip on loose gravel, and the puncture protection to go with it. Then, if a course is faster and smoother, there is room to drop down without touching the frame.
SRAM APEX XPLR
Shifting is SRAM APEX XPLR, 12 speed, with the AXS shift-brake system and HS2 rotors front and rear. The 11-44T cassette runs against a 42T chainring on an FSA e-bike alloy crank. So the range is there for steep pitches even before the motor helps. It is a workhorse group rather than a showpiece, which is the right call at this end of the range.
Endurance Geometry and a Clean Front End
Scott builds the Solace Gravel on its Endurance geometry, so the position is upright enough to hold for hours without feeling slow. The Syncros Cable Integration System routes everything internally through a Creston 2.0 X alloy bar and RR2.5 stem. Also the frame carries a UDH interface, which keeps your drivetrain options open years from now.
