Two models sit in the range. The Fastlane 20 is the road bike. It runs the TQ HPR40 motor with 40Nm of torque and a 290Wh battery. It weighs 11.1kg all up. Then the Solace Gravel takes the same idea off the tarmac. It uses the much stronger TQ HPR60 with 60Nm and a 360Wh pack. It also clears 50c tyres. Both share the thing that matters most here. The motor is small. The battery is internal. And there is no screen bolted to the bar. So the bike reads as a normal carbon road or gravel bike until you press the button. Plus the TQ unit is quiet, and it disengages smoothly at 25km/h rather than dragging. The Fastlane uses a discreet bar-end display. The Solace Gravel runs the TQ HPR display, in colour on the 10. Both pair to a smartphone app over Bluetooth and ANT+. Also both take an optional 160Wh range extender, and the Solace Gravel 10 includes one in the box.Who is this for? Riders who want to keep up on the bunch ride. Riders flattening a commute. Anyone coming back from injury. Also anyone who wants a gravel bike that makes big days feel shorter.Want to see one? Get in touch or come into the shop at 107 Bay Street, Port Melbourne. Then we will talk you through which model fits.
