Zuatu Cycling Shoes at Port Melbourne Cycles
Zuatu cycling shoes are hand-built carbon road shoes from a team of carbon fibre engineers who began making shoes in 2003. Later, the brand developed its race shoes with Slovenian champions. Today, Zuatu backs riders at UAE Team Emirates-XRG, Bahrain Victorious and Jayco AlUla. So you get WorldTour-level construction, yet the prices sit well below most big-name race shoes.
Why riders choose Zuatu
- Full carbon soles. In fact, every Zuatu race sole is pure carbon, with no fibreglass filler, so power goes straight to the pedal.
- Heat-mouldable fit. The uppers shape to your foot in about five minutes at 70°C. Also, you can re-mould them as often as you need.
- Three widths. Zuatu drew its lasts from more than 128,000 foot scans, and most models come in Narrow, Standard and Wide.
- Dials you can trust. Dual micro-adjust dials let you fine-tune the fit mid-ride, and Zuatu covers the closure with a lifetime warranty.
Which Zuatu shoe is right for you?
The Zuatu Z1-Pro is the new flagship. Also, it weighs about 190 g per shoe and adds a Vibram heel pad for safer walking. Next, the Zuatu Z001-Pro is the shoe that made Zuatu’s name, at 213 g with titanium cleat bolts. Then the Zuatu Z001 brings a 9-layer full carbon sole to everyday training. Finally, the Zuatu Z002 pairs a carbon sole with a soft, water-resistant knit upper at the friendliest price.
Getting the right Zuatu size
Zuatu uses EU sizes with half sizes. So measure your foot length in millimetres, check it against Zuatu’s size chart, then choose your width. Because the shoes are heat-mouldable, small pressure points around the heel or toe can usually be shaped out. Plus, our team can measure your feet and help with moulding in the shop.
