The Filante SLR iD2 was developed hand-in-hand with the Groupama – FDJ WorldTour team. Its carbon monocoque frame weighs just 860g in a size M. The reshaped tube set cuts over 13 per cent from the bike’s own drag against the first-generation Filante SLR. Over a 70km course at 290 watts, that is worth about a minute and 45 seconds. Even so, bottom bracket stiffness is up 7.5 per cent to 201 Nm per degree. So none of that aero gain costs you any power transfer.

The F-Bar iD2 is Wilier’s one-piece carbon handlebar and stem. It hides every brake and shift cable inside the frame and fork. That keeps the front end narrow and clean through the air. The Aerokit hydration system adds 1,100ml of capacity without adding drag.

Two build options are available. The Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9270 build runs a 2×12 wireless drivetrain with an integrated power meter crank. The SRAM RED AXS E1 build runs 2×13, fully wireless, with the same integrated power meter crank. Both share the same frame, cockpit and Aerokit system.
