The Wilier Zero SLR, or 0 SLR, is Wilier’s ultra-light climbing race bike, with a frame under 800 g. Right now, Port Melbourne Cycles has clearance stock in Melbourne, built with the one-piece carbon Zero Bar, a 45 mm or 50 mm deep carbon wheelset and Shimano 105 Di2 or Ultegra Di2.
Wilier Zero SLR at a glance
- Wilier 0 SLR carbon monocoque frame, under 800 g claimed in size M
- Fully integrated cables through the one-piece Zero Bar
- Asymmetric rear triangle for efficient power transfer
- Shimano 105 Di2 or Ultegra Di2 12-speed, hydraulic disc brakes
- Velvet Red, Matte Black, Admiral Blue and Gloss Black
Why the Wilier Zero SLR stands out
The Zero SLR was the first ultra-light race bike to combine disc brakes with fully hidden cables. As a result, it looks clean and climbs eagerly, and Wilier says a top-end build can weigh as little as 6.5 kg.
In addition, Wilier’s carbon blend lifts stiffness-to-weight by 24% over the older Zero.7 and Zero.6. The asymmetric rear triangle also counters chain pull, so less of your effort is lost to flex.
Sizing and geometry
The Zero SLR has a classic race fit. For example, a size M has 386 mm of reach, 536 mm of stack and a 72.15Β° head angle, while a size L has 391 mm of reach and 554 mm of stack. Sizes run from XS to XXL, although this clearance stock covers M to XXL. Not sure of your size? Every bike we sell includes a free bike fit, so we can match you to the right frame.
Where it fits in the Wilier range
The Zero SLR is Wilier’s lightweight climbing bike. Meanwhile, the Zero SL shares its geometry in a more affordable carbon. If you want aero speed instead, look at the Filante SLR, Filante SL or the current Filante SLR iD2. You can also browse all Wilier bikes and Wilier framesets.
Clearance builds and pricing
These bikes come from Wilier’s Australian distributor in limited colours and sizes. In addition, you can choose Shimano Di2 in either 105 or Ultegra form. Both give you 12-speed electronic shifting and hydraulic disc brakes, so the choice mostly comes down to weight and budget. Once a size sells, it is gone.
