Jaroon Steel

The Wilier Jaroon Steel is a steel gravel bike built the Wilier way. It gives a smooth, springy ride that suits long days, touring and bikepacking. Port Melbourne Cycles stocks the Jaroon with Shimano GRX in 1×11 and 2×11 builds.

Why steel?

Steel flexes a little over bumps, so it soaks up road buzz and rough gravel. It is also tough and easy to repair. As a result, many riders choose steel for adventure and touring bikes they plan to keep for years.

Frame and fork

The Jaroon uses a double-butted chromoly steel frame with hidden cables and a carbon fork with a 12mm thru axle. It also clears tyres up to 42mm, so you can run wide, grippy tyres on gravel and dirt roads.

Two Shimano GRX builds

• Jaroon Steel GRX 1×11: one chainring for simple, low-fuss shifting.
• Jaroon Steel GRX 2×11: two chainrings for a wider range of gears on long, hilly rides.

Both builds use GRX hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors, which handle long descents without fade.
