The Wilier Rave SLR iD2 is Wilier’s new gravel race bike, and this is the Shimano GRX Di2 build. In fact, the frame weighs just 990 g. Yet it clears 52 mm tyres and hides every cable. So it is light on the climbs, quick on the flat and calm when the track turns rough.
Wilier Rave SLR iD2 with Shimano GRX Di2 1×12
Shimano’s GRX Di2 groupset gives you a 40T ring and a 10-51T cassette. Because the range is so wide, one shifter covers everything from a fast tarmac link to a steep fire road. The RX827 rear derailleur has a clutch, so the chain stays quiet over corrugations. Plus the hydraulic GRX brakes give you real control with one finger on the lever.

A Frame Built For Gravel Racing
Wilier spent months in the wind tunnel on the iD2 frame. The new tube shapes save 5.3 watts at 35 km/h, which adds up to about 50 seconds over a 70 km race. Yet the frame still weighs only 990 g. Because it uses the same HUS Mod carbon and liquid crystal polymer as the Filante SLR, it stays stiff under power and smooth over chatter.
F-Bar Cockpit And Graff Aero 48 Wheels
The F-Bar is a one-piece carbon handlebar at 380 g. Also, it hides every cable and cleans up the airflow at the front of the bike. Below it, the Miche Graff Aero 48 carbon wheels are new for this model. They are deep enough to be fast on the road, yet wide enough to support a 50 mm tyre at low pressure.
Room For 52 mm Tyres
Clearance is the big change from the previous Rave SLR. So you can run anything from a fast 40 mm file tread to a 52 mm knobby for loose descents. Plus, the bike ships with 50 mm Vittoria Terreno T50 tyres set up tubeless. Then it is ready for whatever surface your next event throws at you.
Aerokit Ready
The frame accepts Wilier’s Aerokit hydration system, which holds 1,100 ml and doubles as an aerodynamic fairing. It is an optional extra, so ask us about fitting one. Either way, the pixel-art graphics and bold colours make this one of the most distinctive gravel bikes on the market.
