Scott Plasma RC

The Scott Plasma RC is Scott’s dedicated triathlon and time trial platform, engineered to be the fastest bike the brand has ever built — Scott’s own testing shows a 33-second gain over 40km at matched power compared to the previous Plasma. Every tube on the frame uses deep, truncated-aerofoil profiles developed with Computational Fluid Dynamics and aero specialists Drag2Zero, paired with dropped seatstays, an aero seatpost and a deliberately narrow head tube to keep frontal area to a minimum.

At the front end, the Syncros Creston iC TT cockpit routes cables directly through a patented slotted headset, keeping the whole system fully integrated while remaining genuinely adjustable — stem length, armrest stack, extension angle, grip angle and reach can all be tuned to fit without compromising the bike’s aerodynamics. A shorter fork offset and increased trail add stability at race speed, letting riders hold an aggressive position for longer without the bike feeling twitchy.

The Plasma RC is disc-brake only and clears up to 30mm tyres, built to handle everything from a sprint-distance criterium leg to a full Ironman.
