Description
Garmin Varia RTL515 – see what is coming from behind
The Garmin Varia RTL515 is the rear radar that made Varia famous. It detects vehicles approaching from up to 140 metres behind you, then shows them on your Edge or phone with tones and colour bars.
Also, the built-in tail light is visible from up to 1.6 km in daylight. You get up to 16 hours of battery in day flash mode, and it fits nearly any seatpost with the included mount.

Who is the Garmin Varia RTL515 for?
It suits commuters and road riders who want proven radar at a great price. Then again, if you want a brake light and a longer range, look at the Varia RearVue 820. Also, it works with every Garmin Edge.
What’s in the box
Varia RTL515 radar tail light, mounting kit, cables and documentation.
Good to know
Because the light and the radar share one battery, it is worth charging after every couple of rides. Also, radar-only mode stretches battery life on bright summer days. Plus, it fits round, aero and most D-shaped seatposts with the included mounts. So it suits almost any bike in the garage.
