Pinarello Dogma F 2027: the four new colours
Pinarello revealed the new Dogma F finishes in June 2026. Each one has its own theme, and the logos and graphics were redrawn to suit every paint job. Meanwhile, the frame underneath stays the same proven race bike. Tap any photo to go to the listing.

What’s different about the Dogma F?
For 2027, the change is the paint, not the frame. That is good news, because the current Dogma F is still one of the most refined race bikes you can buy. Pinarello launched this frame in June 2024 with a long list of small, careful gains. Compared with the Dogma F that came before it, you get:
- Stiffer, lighter carbon. The frame moved from Toray T1100 to Toray M40X carbon. As a result, it feels sharper when you stand up and sprint. Pinarello claims a bare size 53 frame weighs about 860 g unpainted.
- 108 g saved overall. That figure counts the frame, fork, seatpost and the new cockpit together.
- A slipperier shape. The down tube was redrawn with an “Aero-Keel” around the bottom bracket, and the head tube is 8 mm slimmer at the front. Also, the thru axles now sit flush with the frame.
- A calmer front end. The new Onda fork has a 47 mm rake (up from 43 mm). So the bike feels more settled on fast descents.
- A lighter cockpit. The one-piece MOST Talon Ultra Fast bar is about 40 g lighter than before.
- Room for 30 mm tyres, up from 28 mm, plus a threaded Italian bottom bracket that is easy to service.

Who is the Dogma F for?
The Dogma F suits riders who want the fastest, most responsive bike Pinarello makes. Think crit racers, hill climbers, fast bunch riders and anyone chasing Strava times. It is the bike Netcompany INEOS races at the Tour de France. However, the geometry is low and long. So if you like a more upright position, read on about the Dogma X.
Pinarello Dogma X 2027: an all-new endurance bike
The Dogma X is where the real news is. Pinarello unveiled the second-generation Dogma X in Treviso in July 2026. It is lighter, smoother and much closer to the Dogma F in feel. In fact, early reviewers say it rides more like a race bike than its “endurance” label suggests.

What’s different about the new Dogma X?
- X-Stays 2.0. The first Dogma X had a signature X-shaped bridge in its seat stays. Now that bridge is gone. Instead, the new double-arm stays join the frame at four lower points. As a result, the seat stays and seatpost can flex more, so less road buzz reaches you.
- Race-bike carbon. It now uses the same Toray M40X carbon as the Dogma F.
- About 180 g lighter than the first-generation Dogma X. Pinarello says a size 53 with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 weighs 7.06 kg, and calls it the lightest endurance bike on the market.
- Dogma F DNA. It borrows the Dogma F’s narrow down tube, deeper head tube and elliptical steerer. So it is more aero and stiffer at the front than before.
- Room for 35 mm tyres. That is plenty for rough country roads, but it stays a proper road bike, not a gravel bike.

Who is the Dogma X for?
The Dogma X is for riders who want Dogma speed without a racer’s aggressive position. It suits long rides like Around the Bay, gran fondos and rough back roads. Plus, it is a great choice if you run a tall stack of spacers on your current race bike. Here is a simple test from Gran Fondo magazine: if you have more than 15 mm of spacers under your stem, the Dogma X will probably fit you better.
Dogma F or Dogma X: which should you choose?
- Choose the Dogma F if you race, ride hard in fast groups, or want the most aggressive position.
- Choose the Dogma X if you ride long, ride rough roads, or want a slightly taller, more relaxed position.

Earlier Dogma F colours use the same M40X frame, and they are now $9,489 (down from $11,999). Choose from Luxter Venice, Edge Crystal White, Starry Red, Luxter Amber, Luxter Grey Matt, Luxter Blue Shiny and Luxter Turquoise.

How the Dogma is made
Every Dogma is designed and engineered at Pinarello’s home in Treviso, in northern Italy. It starts with Toray carbon fibre from Japan. The M40X grade used in both 2027 Dogmas is stiffer than the T1100 it replaces. So the engineers can use less material for the same strength, which keeps weight down.
From there, the shapes are refined with computer flow simulations (CFD) and wind tunnel tests. Then the pro riders test them. For example, the Dogma F’s longer fork rake came from rider feedback on fast descents. Also, the Dogma frame has been asymmetric since 2009. The left and right sides are shaped differently, because the drivetrain loads one side of the bike more than the other.

A short history of the Pinarello Dogma
- 1952: Giovanni “Nani” Pinarello opens his workshop in Treviso.
- 1990s: Miguel Indurain wins five Tours de France in a row on Pinarello.
- 2002: The first Dogma arrives, with a magnesium frame and curved “Onda” shapes to soak up vibration.
- 2009: The Dogma goes full carbon and asymmetric.
- 2010: Pinarello starts supplying Team Sky, now Netcompany INEOS. Since then, the team has won seven Tours on Pinarello.
- 2014: The aero Dogma F8 kicks off the modern era.
- 2024: The current Dogma F launches with M40X carbon.
- 2026: The new Dogma X launches, and Tom Pidcock’s Q36.5 team rides the Dogma F.
In total, riders have won 15 Tours de France on a Pinarello. That makes it the most successful bike brand in Tour history.
