Description
The Garmin Edge 1060 is Garmin’s new flagship GPS bike computer. It keeps the big, bright 3.5-inch screen of the Edge 1050, then adds hands-free voice control, extra side buttons and a smaller, lighter body. So you get every training and navigation tool Garmin makes, and you can use most of them without taking a hand off the bars.

Pre-order now
The Edge 1060 is brand new, and Garmin Australia expects stock from late November 2026. Pre-order now and we’ll send yours as soon as it lands.
Limited units available on the first shipment – pre-order or enquire now.
Talk to your Edge
Say “Okay, Garmin” and ask for what you need. For example, check your heart rate, find the nearest coffee stop or report a pothole. Also, with a paired phone you can send and hear voice messages through the Garmin Messenger app. The speaker reads out stats, turn prompts and workout steps, and it doubles as a digital bike bell.
Buttons for wet days and gloves
The Edge 1050 relies mostly on its touchscreen for menus. However, the Edge 1060 adds side buttons, so you can get around the unit in the rain or in winter gloves. Plus, it weighs 142 g, which is 19 g lighter than the 1050.
Smarter navigation
Route Options compares different ways to a destination by ride time, climbing and bike type. Then Route Previews shows distance, time and reported hazards before you roll out. Free Flow Routing finds roads with the fewest stops, which is ideal for training. Meanwhile, Up Ahead keeps the nearest cafés and toilets on screen.
Train with purpose
Real-time stamina, power guide and ClimbPro help you pace every ride. Also, free Garmin Cycling Coach plans adapt to your form, and TrainingPeaks workouts sync automatically.
Good to know

- It works with the Garmin Edge Power Mount for longer rides, and with Varia radar.
- Voice commands work in select languages, and messaging needs a paired phone.
