Description
Lezyne Road Drive 500 – rechargeable front light
The Lezyne Road Drive 500 is built for road riders. Its flat, low-profile body sits under an out-front computer mount, and its beam is shaped for the road ahead rather than the trees above.
It gives up to 500 lumens and up to 55 hours on the lowest setting. Plus, it uses a quarter-turn mount, and a GoPro adapter comes in the box, so it fits most integrated cockpits.
Key features
- Up to 500 lumens, or 55 hours on the lowest mode
- Road-specific beam that lights the road, not the sky
- Low-profile body with a quarter-turn mount
- GoPro adapter included (cockpit mounts sold separately)
- User-replaceable 1100 mAh battery

How bright is the Lezyne Road Drive 500?
500 lumens is enough to ride a lit city street or a bike path at a steady pace, and to be seen clearly by day. Also, the 55-hour figure is for the lowest mode. On high, expect a shorter run, so charge after each long ride.
Who is the Lezyne Road Drive 500 for?
It suits road riders with an integrated bar and an out-front mount. It pairs well with the Strip Drive 300+ Rear or the Zecto Drive Max 400+.
Charging and care
Charge the battery fully before your first ride. Then top it up after long rides, rather than running it flat every time. Also, keep the charging port cover closed in the rain. Lezyne tests its lights to IPX7, so a wet ride will not hurt them. Even so, a quick wipe afterwards keeps the lens clear and the mount firm.
What’s in the box
The light, its quarter-turn mount and a GoPro adapter come in the box. Cockpit-specific mounts are sold separately. Lezyne does not include a USB-C cable, so use the one from your phone or ask us for one.
