The Grit 4540 White Industries wheelset from Princeton CarbonWorks is light, tough and built for gravel racing. Its White Industries hubs are machined in the USA and known for their smooth, long-lasting bearings.
So what makes the rim tough? It passes 130 J impact testing, which is 325% above the UCI minimum. Also, Princeton’s patented Radially Staggered Lacing evens out spoke tension. As a result, the wheel stays true after hard days off-road.

Who is the Grit 4540 White Industries for?
It suits gravel racers and riders who want hubs they can service for years. However, if you want the lightest build, the DT Swiss 240 version saves a few grams. Compare it with the rest of our Princeton CarbonWorks wheels range.
What’s in the box
You get a front and rear wheel with White Industries hubs and your chosen freehub. The price does not include tyres, rotors or a cassette.
How to choose your options
First, pick the finish that suits your bike. Then choose the freehub that matches your groupset. Shimano HG suits Shimano 11 and 12-speed road groupsets. SRAM XDR suits SRAM AXS road groupsets. Not sure which you have? Just ask us, because we check this on every wheel order.
