Lets take a look at the BMC Kaius 01 TWO SRAM Force XPLR AXS (2027)
Race-focused gravel speed, tuned for long days, high averages, and good times at every race.
Designed from the start for racing, the Kaius 01 TWO builds on the standard that our Kaius first set for speed on loose ground, bringing more stability, more efficiency, and more confidence at pace.
Aerodynamics are refined through Impec Lab development, leading to a 7% improvement at 40 km/h. The 01 Premium Carbon frame sharpens power transfer while increasing composure over broken ground. Added compliance, 51mm tire clearance and high-speed stability have all been reworked so you can rip the turns and stay aggressive when the racing gets selective.
Finished with SRAM Force XPLR AXS groupset with full-mount rear derailleur and power meter, it’s a gravel bike ready for race stress. The next-gen ICS Carbon Aero cockpit supports your race position up front, while our CG39 Carbon tubeless-ready wheelset keeps speed high as you glide over the chunky stuff with ease.
Designed for the evolving demands of elite gravel racing, the Kaius 01 offers up to 52mm tire clearance while maintaining race geometry and control. Enhanced compliance technologies and refined geometry ensure riders stay fast, stable, and efficient across the roughest terrain.
With integrated cargo solutions, drivetrain versatility, and cutting-edge frame design inspired by BMC’s Teammachine series, the bike is purpose-built for modern gravel competition.
Race-ready geometry
Race day doesn’t care what the surface is doing. That’s why we redesigned the geometry to keep you fast across all of it: sharper up front, calmer at speed, and capable for the wider tires that make modern gravel racing what it is: chaotic, but fast.
Faster with more control
Gravel racing continues to progress – so does our tire clearance. Bigger tires mean more speed and more traction. This gives you the confidence to hit the turns and rough terrain flat-out.
ICS Carbon Aero Cockpit
Developed with Tudor Pro Cycling Team, this ICS Aero Cockpit is by racers, for racers: stiffer, more aero, more comfortable, more tunable, and easier to assemble. And yes, it looks good too.
Compliance
Wider tires? Check. Slacker head angle? Check. Optimized carbon layup? Check. Whatever the terrain, you’re getting just the right amount of stiffness and compliance to crush the competition across scorched Spanish deserts or horizonless American gravel.
