Maurten Gel Mix 480 – big carbs for big days
Maurten Gel Mix 480 is a powder that you mix with water to make your own hydrogel fuel. Each sachet holds 120 grams of carbohydrates when mixed with 200ml of water. So one flask can cover a large part of a long ride.
The texture is thicker than Drink Mix but looser than a gel. Also, like Drink Mix, it becomes a true gel in the stomach. It has no added flavour, colour or preservatives, yet you can add a Maurten Addition to change the taste.

Who is Maurten Gel Mix 480 for?
It suits long rides, ultra events and big training weeks where you need a lot of carbs. Maurten designed it for their Gel Mix Flask 350ml, although other soft flasks work too. Then, after mixing, let it rest for five minutes before you drink it.
