Description

The Solestar Kontrol is the ideal upgrade for the soft standard insole in your cycling shoes. Its carbon and fibreglass core gives stiff, stable support at a featherlight weight, holding your foot in a neutral position so more of your effort reaches the pedal. Not sure which Solestar insole suits you? Contact us and the team will help.

Why the Solestar Kontrol works

Under load, an unsupported foot flexes and rolls inwards, and your knee follows. That wastes power and can cause hot spots, numb toes and knee pain on long rides. Solestar’s patented three-point stabilisation delta supports the heel, arch and forefoot, keeping your foot, knee and hip in line from the first pedal stroke.

Solestar Kontrol key features

  • Carbon and fibreglass core – 40% carbon for stiffness with a touch of give
  • Patented stabilisation delta – guides the foot into a neutral position
  • Better power transfer and less strain on feet, knees and hips
  • Thin and light – 3mm at the forefoot, 117g a pair in size 42
  • Antibacterial, moisture-absorbing EVA with a hard-wearing PU top
  • Suits any foot type, including flat, high-arched and wide feet

Who it suits

The Kontrol suits most road and gravel riders who want more support and comfort without the full race stiffness of the Solestar BLK. Need more room? See the Kontrol Wide.
