Scott Addict RC Pro Frameset – Light, Stiff and Race Ready
The Scott Addict RC Pro Frameset gives you the frame, fork and seatpost from Scott’s lightest production race bike. So you can build it with the groupset, wheels and cockpit you want. Scott designed the Addict RC for steep climbs and hard finishes, and it races at WorldTour level.
This 2027 frameset uses Scott’s HMX carbon and comes in Rush White with carbon black details. It has a claimed weight of about 1.31 kg. Also, it keeps the replaceable derailleur hanger and fully internal cable routing of the complete bikes. Would you rather ride away on a complete bike? Lightweight Expertise
Scott rethought how it moulds a carbon road frame for the Addict RC. In fact, it borrowed ideas from its mountain bike range. As a result, the frame kit weighs about 300 g less than the previous Addict RC. Yet it gives up nothing in stiffness or race performance.
Precision Engineering
Scott uses a PP mandrel process to mould the inside of each tube with high precision. So the tube shapes need no extra reinforcement or filler. That means cleaner surfaces and less weight, while the frame stays strong and stiff.
Optimised Geometry
Scott redesigned the Addict RC geometry to suit wider tyres. It also made the handling feel the same across every size. So whether you race or chase local KOMs and QOMs, the bike feels quick and responsive. See the Geo tab for the full numbers.
Comfort
A new seatpost clamp lets Scott use thinner seat tube walls. Paired with the Syncros SP-R100-SL seatpost, the seat tube flexes a little more. As a result, long rides feel smoother. Also, the frame clears tyres up to 34 mm for extra comfort on rough roads.
