Description
Princeton Alta 3532 – a light, low-profile carbon climbing wheel
The Princeton Alta 3532 is the shallowest and lightest-feeling road wheel in the Princeton CarbonWorks range. Its 32 to 35 mm rim keeps weight low for climbing, yet it still cuts through the air well on fast roads.
Also, the Alta was the first Princeton wheel to use the EVOLUTION rim design and layup. Princeton removed material from the inner edge of the rim to improve spoke angles and tension. As a result, the wheel stays stiff and responsive while it saves weight.
Key features
- Variable 32–35 mm rim for low weight and quick acceleration
- 21 mm internal width, tubeless ready
- Asymmetric cross-section that matches each spoke’s entry angle to the rim
- Rim shape balances spoke tension on the drive and disc sides
- Shaped valve exit that makes valves easier to tighten
- 24 spokes front and rear with DT Swiss 240 or Tactic TR01 hubs

Who is the Princeton Alta 3532 for?
It suits riders who climb most weekends and want a light wheel that still looks low-key. It also suits riders who prefer a shallow rim in strong winds. However, if you want more speed on flat roads, the Peak 4550 or Wake 6560 are deeper. Compare them all in our Princeton CarbonWorks wheels range.
What’s in the box
You get a front and rear wheel with your chosen hub and freehub. Tyres, rotors and cassette are sold separately.
How to choose your hub and freehub
First, pick the decals that suit your bike. Then choose the freehub that matches your groupset. Shimano HG suits Shimano 11 and 12-speed road groupsets. SRAM XDR suits SRAM AXS road groupsets. Not sure which you have? Just ask us, because we check this on every wheel order.
