Solestar Shims are the forefoot and rearfoot wedges used in Solestar’s Custom 3.0 system. Added to your Solestar Kontrol or BLK insoles, they fine-tune the angle of your foot to correct rotation and imbalance, so your foot, knee and hip stay in line through the pedal stroke. Why use Solestar Shims?
Few riders have perfectly symmetrical feet. A small tilt at the forefoot or heel can push your knee out of line on every pedal stroke, which adds up to discomfort and lost power over a long ride. Shims let you correct that tilt precisely, foot by foot.
