Description
SIS Beta Fuel Chew – solid fuel for long days
The SIS Beta Fuel Chew is a soft, chewy bar with 46 grams of carbs. So it gives you real food feel without the dry chewing of a muesli bar.
It uses the same 1:0.8 maltodextrin to fructose ratio as the rest of the Beta Fuel range. As a result, you can take in more carbs per hour with less stomach upset. Also, the bar tears into bites, so you can eat it a bit at a time.
Key features
- 46g of carbohydrate per 60g bar
- 1:0.8 dual-source ratio
- Soft chew texture that is easy to eat on the bike

Who is the SIS Beta Fuel Chew for?
It suits long rides where you want something solid between gels. Eat one through the hour alongside a Beta Fuel drink. Then add a gel late in the ride. Also, many riders like a chew for the early hours and gels for the finish.
What’s in the box
Pick your flavour above. The box holds twenty 60g chew bars in one flavour. Then each bar is one serve.
A quick fuelling tip
Always test new nutrition in training before race day. So plan your carbs, fluid and salts per hour, then build that plan from drinks, gels and chews. Also, keep a note of what worked on each ride. Then on longer rides, set a reminder on your bike computer to eat and drink every 20 minutes. Because hunger shows up late, fuelling early keeps your energy steady to the finish.
